Here Is The Third Party Viewer I Use in Second Life:

Postby Gocoooo » Mon Dec 30, 2019 2:53 pm

Guku Aabye is my avatar's name in Second Life. I started in Second Life on 2007-04-11

Also I use an old classic third party viewer for Second Life and it's called
THE COOL VL VIEWER
(formerly known as "Cool SL Viewer"
first public release was v1.18.4.3, released on 2007-11-16) is a third-party viewer for Second Life® and OpenSim grids. In the name, "VL" of course stands for virtual life. I wasn't using THE COOL VL VIEWER on 2007-11-16 back then. I started in Second Life on 2007-04-11
and I was using Linden Labs viewer back then.

Check out the Screenshots for THE COOL VL VIEWER

I also use The Default skin for THE COOL VL VIEWER:

Here is the link to download it at:

Henri Beauchamp (SL avatar name) is Cool VL Viewer's creator. And creator of the "Cool Products" in SL. If you go in my picks you will see Henri Beauchamp's store is in my picks called: ! Cool Shop - Cool Products home. I am in the group called Cool Products. You can join the group if you like. Also you can teleport to his store from my picks if you like. I am also in the group called CVL viewer and friendly chat group. You can join that group also if you like.
Updates and upgrades:
Please note that there is no auto-update feature neither any automatic latest version checking mechanism for this viewer: It is your responsibility to check manually and regularly for new versions from either the Cool VL Viewer Help menu ("Latest version check..."), the Cool VL Viewer website or its forum.
Here is the website for the forum's:

I never made an account on the website forum's
for The Cool VL Viewer.
To me The Cool VL Viewer is the best viewer there is for Second Life

Here is more information about The Cool VL Viewer:

Cool VL Viewer

1.- Origin and support:

The Cool VL Viewer is an Open Source (GPL v2), third party viewer for Second Life® and OpenSim grids. It is maintained by Henri Beauchamp (Second Life avatar name), maker of the Cool Products in Second Life.

This software is not provided or supported by Linden Lab®, the makers of Second Life®.

Support for this viewer is provided exclusively through the Cool VL Viewer forum.

2.- Updates and upgrades:

Please note that there is no auto-update feature neither any automatic latest version checking mechanism for this viewer: it is your responsibility to check manually and regularly for new versions from either the Cool VL Viewer Help menu ("Latest version check..."), the Cool VL Viewer website or its forum.

3.- Privacy policy:

No data whatsoever is collected or sent to the author of this viewer. Data is however stored on your hard disk and exchanged with the servers of the grid(s) you connect to, in the exact same way as an official Second Life viewer would do.

4.- Linden Lab's Third-Party Viewer policy compliance:

As the maintainer of this viewer, I, Henri Beauchamp (and in fact the real person behind this avatar), declare in good faith that to the best of my knowledge and understanding, and baring any unknown and yet to discover bug, this viewer is compliant with the Third-Party Viewers policy as published by Linden Lab at the time this particular viewer build was released (see above about your responsibility regarding update checks).

5.- Liability:

As a user of this viewer, you must also comply with Linden Lab's Third-Party Viewer policy when you connect with this viewer to the Second Life grid, and I will take no responsibility whatsoever for any bugs or shortcomings that you would abuse or exploit in any way to violate the TOS of any grid you connect to, or to violate the TPV policy of Second Life.

Finally, to make things crystal clear, let's quote the GPL v2.0 under which this viewer is licensed:

11. BECAUSE THE PROGRAM IS LICENSED FREE OF CHARGE, THERE IS NO WARRANTY FOR THE PROGRAM, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. EXCEPT WHEN OTHERWISE STATED IN WRITING THE COPYRIGHT HOLDERS AND/OR OTHER PARTIES PROVIDE THE PROGRAM "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE PROGRAM IS WITH YOU. SHOULD THE PROGRAM PROVE DEFECTIVE, YOU ASSUME THE COST OF ALL NECESSARY SERVICING, REPAIR OR CORRECTION.

12. IN NO EVENT UNLESS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW OR AGREED TO IN WRITING WILL ANY COPYRIGHT HOLDER, OR ANY OTHER PARTY WHO MAY MODIFY AND/OR REDISTRIBUTE THE PROGRAM AS PERMITTED ABOVE, BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY GENERAL, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PROGRAM (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA OR DATA BEING RENDERED INACCURATE OR LOSSES SUSTAINED BY YOU OR THIRD PARTIES OR A FAILURE OF THE PROGRAM TO OPERATE WITH ANY OTHER PROGRAMS), EVEN IF SUCH HOLDER OR OTHER PARTY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

If you do not agree with the above terms, do not use the Cool VL Viewer.

I do not use any of these third party viewers for Second Life:

The only third party viewer I use for Second Life is The Cool VL Viewer
